Good news, now that the waiting lists for medical visits are endless. Free oncological check-ups and consultations in Oristano thanks to the commitment of the association "Le Belle Donne" and the availability of Dr. Tito Sedda, a retired oncology specialist and volunteer of the association led by Maria Cadeddu. The service includes consultations every Wednesday, from 9 to 12, in the office in Piazza Roma 72, on the first floor.

It will start tomorrow, Wednesday 26 February . Tito Sedda, who spent 29 years at San Martino in Oristano, 18 in the Medicine department and 11 in Oncology, explains the reason for his umpteenth mission for others: «I am a retired doctor but also a volunteer, that's why I can't help but answer all the questions that have always been asked of me. That's why I decided, with the association, to promote this initiative, also in light of the fact that so many people don't have a GP. I'm thinking above all of the frail people, the elderly. The requests they have always made to me are varied: from reading the tests to how to move after finding out you have a tumor. Or what to do if you feel a particular, suspicious pain».

To book, just call 3483854558. " I'll be there to give advice, to help those who don't know how to move . Many don't even know how to book specific tests. We're in the trenches, the health system isn't having a good time, I can't help but make my knowledge and availability available," concludes Sedda.
