Tense moments erupted Thursday at a bar in the Residenza del Sole neighborhood of Capoterra . Two men, clearly intoxicated, threatened staff and customers after the alcohol service was stopped. Returning with a bottle from outside, they became enraged, forcing the owners to call the municipal police.

The officers seized a knife from one of the two , but were unable to remove them by force. For safety's sake, the establishment closed early. The owners will file a complaint, and the Municipal Police will send a report to the Prosecutor's Office. The incident has alarmed the usually calm community.
