The joint analyzes by Abbanoa and the local health authority gave the green light to the use of water throughout the municipal area of Alghero, with the exception of the hamlet of Maristella.

Mayor Mario Conoci therefore partially revoked the provision that limited the use of water as a drink and for the preparation of food in the Municipality of Alghero. From today, water in the municipal area can be used for every need.

The problem remains on Maristella, where the ban remains due to non-compliance of the parameters. The mayor, in hoping that the problem will be resolved immediately also for the users of the Maristella village, takes note of the commitment made by ASL, Abbanoa and Arpas to strengthen coordination to prevent and possibly resolve similar episodes.

In order to alleviate the problems as much as possible, Conoci has asked that the tanker service be strengthened.
