Starting from the Way: this is the path indicated by the Ministry of the Environment and Energy Security for the Eolia project, developed by the company NVA 5 Srl with arbitrary emblems and logos. The project was submitted to the Directorate General for Environmental Assessments to request authorization to install twenty-five wind turbines, 262 meters tall, in the municipalities of Berchidda, Monti, Telti, Padru, and Olbia. The ministry suspended the process.

The authorization process was interrupted following a request from the mayors of the municipalities threatened by the project to remove all documents produced by the company from the ministry's official website because they "bear the municipal coats of arms affixed without the approval of the authorities," who warned NVA 5 srl against using municipal logos in the project documents.

Having granted the request of Gallura's mayors, the Ministry of the Environment has removed all documents from the portal and is asking the proposing company to "resubmit all documentation, stripped of the logos of the administrations that have not issued the appropriate authorization for this purpose." The title pages and attachments have been cleaned up, and the ministry will "communicate the resumption of the process" for the Environmental Impact Assessment. Misused for a project the mayors firmly oppose, says Monti's mayor, Emanuele Mutzu, "these multinational wind companies are so arrogant they can even include the municipal coats of arms in the documents submitted to the ministry, almost as if to suggest the administrations have approved it."
