Ilbono, tears and anger for the last farewell to Marco Mameli
A huge and silent crowd at the funeral of the boy killed in Bari Sardo during the Carnival celebrationsOn the white balloons each of the boys wrote a thought, which flew into the sky in a gust of icy wind. Ilbono and the entire Ogliastra embraced the family of Marco Mameli, killed at 22 during a Carnival party last March 1st .
A large crowd in the parish of San Giovanni Battista said their last farewell to the boy with the kind smile, in love with life.
From the pulpit, Bishop Antonello Mura lashed out. "Life is not a joke, not even at Carnival. It is useless to deny that these are bad days and a celebration has exalted violence instead of joy and sharing." And then he turned to adults: "Let's ask ourselves if we are distracted parents and educators without educational backbone."
