The protagonist of the violent episode, which occurred last night in the center of Iglesias, is a 67-year-old pensioner, who also took it out on the Radiomobile police who intervened to stop him: he even tried to bite one of them.

When the health workers arrived, the elderly man, in a clear state of psychophysical alteration, did everything to avoid being examined: in the end, when the police arrived, everything was tried to stop him without harming him.

Difficult operation but, in the end, successful. At the end of the operation, the pensioner was sedated by the doctors present on site and transported to the psychiatry department of the Carbonia hospital for compulsory medical treatment. The soldiers who intervened suffered minor injuries caused by the scuffle.
