Huge fire between Uta and Macchiareddu: the flames threaten houses and farms

Alarm for a huge fire that broke out in the countryside between Uta and Macchiareddu.

The flames broke out among vegetation and brushwood and after the alarm two teams of firefighters arrived on the spot, one from the Cagliari Command, the other from the Iglesias detachment.
The fire, fueled by the wind, spread to various points, also involving tall trees.
The men of 115 went into action both to put out the fire and to protect some farms and houses threatened by the fire.
