Hit by the propeller of a rubber dinghy, bather injured in Gallura
The yachtsman did not stop but was identified by the Coast Guard
Accident at sea this morning, around 11, in the waters in front of Tavolara , in Gallura .
A bather was injured by the propeller of a rubber dinghy that hit him while swimming in the waters of Cala Finanza , in the territory of Loiri Porto San Paolo, not far from the beach of Porto Taverna.
The man, an Italian of about 30 years , suffered cuts on the thigh of his left leg and was immediately rescued and transported from 118 to the hospital in Olbia. It wouldn't be life threatening.
The yachtsman , also Italian, did not stop to help but was later tracked down by the men of the Olbia Harbor Master's Office who are now coordinating the investigations and have informed the judiciary for the criminal charges that will be made against those maneuvered the vessel at the moment of impact.
