Heat waves, the yellow alert goes off in Cagliari: peaks of 34 degrees are expected

In Cagliari the alarm goes off for the heat waves coming. The Ministry of Health has issued a yellow alert bulletin (level 1) for Friday 30 June : temperatures ranging from 22 to 34 degrees are expected in the Sardinian capital.

Heat waves are extreme weather conditions that occur when very high temperatures are recorded for several consecutive days, often associated with high humidity, strong solar radiation and lack of ventilation.

With the Alert at level 1 (yellow color) weather conditions and high temperatures can lead to a level 2 . Health and social services are also in a state of early alert.
