The Council has approved a resolution that provides guidelines to the ASL and ARES for the priorities to follow in the use of the various rankings and lists created for the recruitment of personnel, in particular with regard to the procedures for stabilizing temporary personnel hired during the COVID-19 emergency . The resolution, proposed by the Health Councilor, Armando Bartolazzi , follows resolution no. 3 of the second and sixth permanent Commissions of the Regional Council.

"The resolution has a general regulatory nature, aimed at providing non-binding indications to the Companies of the Regional Health System , given the fact that the recognition of personnel needs falls within the management autonomy of the individual companies", explains the regional health councilor Armando Bartolazzi. Adding: "The hope is that priority can be given to the hiring of temporary staff in the health sector through the scrolling of the existing stabilization rankings , in compliance with the legislation currently in force and in line with the council pronouncement".

In detail, the Regional Health Authorities (SSR) will have to:

- proceed within 30 days to a survey of the subjects eligible for stabilization, even if no longer in service

- transmit a Company Stabilization Plan

- draw with priority from the direct stabilization lists already available, before accessing the indirect stabilization lists or the competition rankings.

"The Regional Council today approved resolution no. 22/32, containing the guidelines for the scrolling of the stabilization rankings of precarious healthcare personnel hired during the Covid-19 emergency . This is an important step, eagerly awaited by hundreds of workers who, in the most difficult years, have guaranteed, with professionalism and a spirit of service, the stability of our regional healthcare system", underline in a note the regional councilors of the Democratic Party Camilla Soru and Carla Fundoni .

"This resolution - comments Soru - is the result of intense work carried out in Commissions II and VI, culminating with resolution no. 3 of 2 April, which we strongly desired and approved precisely to provide concrete answers to the historical precariousness of healthcare . We asked the Health Councilor for a clear commitment: to give absolute priority to the scrolling of the stabilization lists, compared to other forms of recruitment. Today this request has become reality".

"Sardinia - adds Fundoni - has the moral and institutional duty to recognize the value of those who have worked in extreme conditions, filling staff shortages, facing exhausting shifts, risking themselves. This act goes in that direction. But there is still much to do: we need a long-term vision on the need for personnel and on the valorization of public work in healthcare".
