A patrol from the Campuomu Forestry Station found and rescued a hiker who was lost in the Seven Brothers Park.
He himself had called the Forestry Corps emergency number 1515 in the late afternoon. In great difficulty, he declared that he was lost and could no longer reach his car, near the Deer Museum. Then, perhaps due to the patchy network coverage in the area, communications had stopped.
The forestry patrol found him along the track that winds from Sette Fratelli Park towards Geremeas. Tired but in good condition, the hiker was accompanied back to his car.
Four days earlier, the same unit had been activated late in the evening via NUE 112 to search for two tourists of French nationality, missing near the Bau Arrexini area. Once located and reached, once their good health conditions were confirmed, the two tourists were also accompanied back to their car.

The Forestry Corps «recommends planning excursions carefully, studying the weather forecast and the route first, so that everything is suited to your abilities. Non-experts should always be accompanied by experts or specialized guides. You must always equip yourself with complete equipment, suitable for dealing with unexpected cold and rain, never abandon the paths and do not blindly rely on telephone connectivity which in some areas can be absent".
