He allegedly forced a female acquaintance to repeatedly grope her private parts, causing injuries that were deemed to heal within twenty days. For this reason, a young man was placed under house arrest on charges of aggravated sexual assault, pursuant to an order issued by the preliminary investigations judge of the Sassari Court at the request of the Prosecutor's Office.

The incident dates back to early June and occurred in Alghero. According to the reconstruction by the Carabinieri at the Via Don Minzoni station, the young man allegedly took advantage of a moment when he was alone with the woman to attack her. The victim apparently managed to escape the attack by reacting with determination and courage. After the incident, the woman was taken to the hospital, where she was treated by medical personnel. The investigation, coordinated by the Sassari Prosecutor's Office and supported by witness statements and additional evidence gathered by the Carabinieri, led to the request for a precautionary measure, which was granted by the investigating judge.

Last Friday, the Carabinieri tracked down the young man and took him to his home, where he is under house arrest.
