Despite the ban, he was caught knocking on his mother's door. A 39-year-old man was arrested by Carabinieri officers from the Macomer branch for violating the precautionary measure prohibiting him from approaching the victim, issued in a Red Code proceeding by the Court of Oristano.

The 39-year-old was first stopped outside his mother's home, despite a judge's order to stay away. The family members, concerned about his presence, requested the intervention of the police. The arrest was carried out by Carabinieri officers from the Birori and Borore stations. The following morning, the man appeared before a judge, who also issued a ban on him from residing in the municipality of Macomer.

However, just a day later, the 39-year-old decided to return to his father's house. This time, he was tracked down by the Carabinieri of Silanus and the Macomer Mobile Radio Unit, who arrested him and took him to Massama prison.

The judge then validated the arrest, ordering his pre-trial detention in prison.
