He landed in Elmas, with a plane from Barcelona. But the passenger, after the journey, was unable to reach his home in San Benedetto, in Cagliari : he ended up in prison in Uta on charges of international drug trafficking.

The man ended up in the network of the financiers of the first metropolitan operational nucleus and of the officials of the Customs Agency on duty at the airport: inside his luggage, thanks to the nose of the sniffer dogs, nine pats of hashish were found, for a total weight of 965 grams, and two plastic bags full of cocaine, for about 135 grams.

The arrest of the trafficker from Cagliari, taken on the evening of 17 December, was not a random arrest: it reached the culmination of a monitoring that passes from the examination "of the various information acquired during the control of the territory, the analysis of the flows of travelers with precise reference both at the departure airport of the flights and at the frequency of the trips made, which allows for the definition of a defined perimeter of action”, explained by the Fiamme Gialle.

Once the Public Prosecutor's authorization was obtained, a search was also carried out in the house in San Benedetto, where a sling scale and a few hundred plastic bags were found. So the alleged trafficker was transferred to a cell in Uta.
