He was out and about on a moped - an old Califfone, which went out of production in 1990 - in via Riva di Villasanta, in Cagliari.

The police stopped him for a check and, after investigations, the driver - a 31-year-old originally from Sorso - ended up in trouble.

The vehicle, in fact, was found to have no license plate and no chassis number. Furthermore, the man did not have the documents and was unable to justify its origin.

For this he was reported for receiving stolen goods.

The old scooter, almost certainly stolen, was seized and now the military is trying to trace the owner. Difficult task, given the scarcity of "clues" available.
