A 40-year-old was arrested by the Cagliari Police for mistreatment in his family.
It was his wife, in the early afternoon of yesterday, who asked for help at 113 and when the agents reached the house they found her together with her three minor children, visibly frightened.
The woman explained that her husband, addicted to alcohol abuse, had attacked her and also on other occasions there had been violence.
The policemen accompanied him to the police station and finally to the Uta prison.
