A 60-year-old man was arrested in Guspini on charges of stalking.
The police at the Arbus station caught him red-handed, just as he was trying to approach his ex-partner who was waiting for the bus, with the excuse of "wanting to have one last confrontation with her".
Yet another episode of a long persecution, which began after the end of their relationship.
The woman had in fact already reported the 60-year-old, a trader and already known to the police, who organized stakeouts and shadowing to "keep her under control".
Furthermore, he had often tried to show up at his place of work. Not to mention the publication of "subliminal" messages with veiled threats on Facebook.
For all this the man had already been "warned", but the persecutory acts continued unabated.
However, after yet another approach attempt, the military arrived to help the woman, stopping and arresting the 60-year-old, who was then transferred, on the orders of the Cagliari Prosecutor's Office, to the Uta prison.
The episode comes a few days after another case of harassment against a woman which occurred in the Middle Campidano: it was recorded in Arbus, where a man was arrested on charges of mistreatment of his ex-wife.
