He stole perfume from a home and personal care store, and it wasn't the first time. But just after he passed the checkout without paying, the store's employees stopped him and called the police. The twenty-three-year-old of Senegalese origin was arrested.

The intervention became necessary yesterday evening in Guspini, as reported by the Carabinieri. The arrested man, as he had done on other occasions, used a shielded bag and stole six bottles of perfume, with a total value of €800. Once on scene, the Carabinieri took custody of the man and searched him, also finding a switchblade measuring 16.5 centimeters in length. For this reason, the charges include illegal possession of weapons and objects intended to offend.

The stolen goods were recovered and returned to the store manager, originally from Gonnosfanadiga, who filed a complaint with the police station. The arrested man was taken to the Sanluri prison cell, pending a validation hearing scheduled for today.
