A 35-year-old woman from Guasila was rescued by firefighters after throwing herself into the canal in via Cima, on the outskirts of the town, from a height of about seven meters. Now he is at the Brotzu hospital in Cagliari and is not in danger of life.

The woman, in a state of agitation, this morning at dawn, left the house and went to the countryside on the outskirts of Guasila, towards Guamaggiore. She threw herself into a canal full of water due to the heavy rains of recent days: shortly before, however, she had called 112 to ask for help from the carabinieri.

The operators of the operational centers of Cagliari and Sanluri managed to keep her on the phone, trying in every way to placate and reassure her, with the aim of identifying the area from which she was calling and sending help as soon as possible. So it was: the woman was rescued by the Sanluri firefighters.
