Another painful hearing for the girl who accuses Ciro Grillo and three of his Genoese friends, Vittorio Lauria, Edoardo Capitta and Francesco Corsiglia, of having raped her on the night between 16 and 17 July in the Grillo family's villa in Porto Cervo after an evening in the disco.

Even today, the last hearing dedicated to the cross-examination of the defenses , the alleged victim was separated from the lawyers by a black cloth.

The questions from Mario Mameli, Capitta's defender , put her to the test. Several very specific questions about what happened that night: the girl often responded with "I don't remember", had several crying fits and appeared in great difficulty when the lawyer confronted her with some inconsistencies between her statements and the videos (which were not shown in court but which the lawyers are in possession of).

The young woman spoke of a faint that occurred that night which prevents her from remembering many things. « But when did it happen, why do you only remember some things and not others, even those that happened after the blackout? », the lawyer's objection.

There was also a clash between the defense and the civil side. Dario Romano, the alleged victim's lawyer, protested against the questions being asked of the girl and the hearing was interrupted for a few minutes. “I'm asking the same questions that the lawyer Giulia Bongiorno asked,” replied Capitta's defender.

Once the cross-examination was over, the prosecutor asked the girl some questions, focusing on how much and where she had drunk that evening, a detail that is anything but negligible in understanding whether the relationship was consensual .

The trial was therefore adjourned to April, when the civil party's consultants will be heard. Today it also emerged that the four defendants will almost certainly also be heard in court, presumably in the spring .
