After the petition launched on Change.org by the municipal councilor of the Cambia con noi group, Andrea Viola, and the media campaign carried out by the spontaneous committee of Maremosso citizens to save Capo Figari, in Golfo Aranci, the privatization of the former traffic light station used, in 1932, by Guglielmo Marconi for the first shortwave radio connection experiment, it ends up in Parliament.

The honorable Roberto Giachetti lodged a parliamentary question to ask for explanations from the competent ministers on the transformation into a luxury hotel of the old traffic light, granted by the Region to the private company «Newfari srl for thirty years for the valorisation of the aforementioned buildings, the whose managing director, Alessio Raggio, in front of the collection of signatures, in a long letter, made known his awareness of having to do with an identity asset for citizens and declared that he wanted to make the company's experience available which represents to do an excellent job», reads the question.

To the Ministry of the Environment and Energy Security, to that of Culture and to that of Tourism, Giachetti asks «on the basis of which criteria the project of a private luxury structure has been deemed compatible with the enhancement of those places, identity of the territory, a destination for hikers who frequent them for their symbolic value and to enjoy the naturalistic setting and the panorama, and which are included in the national list of special protection areas, as per ministerial decree". Not only that, the exponent of Italia Viva asks "if the coherence of the project for a SPA area has been verified and if the aesthetic-constructive aspect of the buildings is protected and the methods of construction of the private structures envisaged do not affect, damaging it, the 'surrounding environment'.
