It's called "At the home of our ancestors to get to know them better and value them. Nuragic civilization as a resource" , the educational project that began last December and will end shortly. It consists of setting up an exhibition with drawings and panels on the nuraghes created by the pupils of the Ghilarza schools , who took part in the interesting artistic workshop, and which will be inaugurated on 27 February at 4.30 pm at the Agora .

The protagonists were the children belonging to some secondary school classes, but also various pupils from the fifth grade of the primary school of the nursery schools in via Alghero and via XVI Marzo. «This work - explains the teacher Valeria Manca who coordinated the project - will be accompanied by the photographic exhibition of the association "Sardinia towards Unesco" , chaired by Pierpaolo Vargiu and will remain open for a week, with the presentation by the students themselves ».

In support of the laboratory, every Tuesday at the headquarters of the "Orgono" association, with which an important synergy was born, around ten meetings were held with 15 students in the presence of Professor Manca herself of the president Ninni Masala . Here a clay manipulation workshop is taking place with the Sedilo expert Umberto Soddu for the creation of artefacts that will be displayed in the exhibition. The project will end with a visit by all the students to the Orgono di Ghilarza nuraghe on Sunday 5 March.

"The project - highlights Valeria Manca - was made possible thanks to the support of the school director Marina Enna who shared the aim of making the children aware of an important part of the history and heritage of our island which must be valued more and more".
