" The Sardinians are united against speculation and will demonstrate it with facts." Yesterday evening in Genoni hundreds of people braved the suffocating heat to participate in the public assembly on the energy transition which involved hundreds of speculative projects - wind, photovoltaic and agrivoltaic - raining down on every corner of Sardinia .

«We need to inform citizens of the situation. In our town they want to build an electrical substation", explained the mayor Gianluca Serra, which - if built - "will occupy eight hectares of land from the exit of the town, in the direction of Nuragus. A havoc in an area that has a completely different vocation. It's just an example of what could happen. Only in Sarcidano and the surrounding area are there projects pending to produce 3.2 gigawatts, i.e. half the share expected for the entire island."

Luigi Pisci, coordinator of the Sarcidano committee: «A long time ago we started studying the project documents. We were few then, the moment was very difficult. Little by little the problem was perceived by everyone, it was a gradual process. There is great participation, at all levels. So let's collect the signatures and move forward with the Pratobello law."

Many citizens arrived from various areas of Sardinia to listen to the speeches.
