Investigations continue to shed light on the murder of Francesco Cidu , the 66-year-old farmer found lifeless in his sheepfold in the Gavoi countryside.

The investigations are being conducted by the Carabinieri and from what we learn the killer killed him with one or more gunshots fired in the face .

On the body, found following the alarm raised by the 66-year-old's family, worried about his failure to return home, he had a disfigured face . But to understand exactly when the death occurred and to ascertain which weapon was used , an autopsy will be necessary, which will be carried out tomorrow morning at the San Martino hospital in Oristano by the medical examiner Roberto Demontis.

Cidu's family, his wife and three children, had been looking for him since yesterday morning in the two pieces of land that the man owned in two opposite parts of the town. Then the macabre discovery.
