A surveyor from Olbia originally from Berchiddeddu, Salvatore Murrighile, is the main suspect in a proceeding (started today in Tempio) that has around twenty people under accusation.

It all started with investigations conducted by the Olbia Local Police staff on land improvement projects for country houses built in the Gallura city area. According to the Local Police staff, led by Commander Giovanni Mannoni, the professional would have certified, with false documents, the qualification of professional agricultural entrepreneur of the clients of the works.

According to investigators, the building permits were issued on the basis of false certifications.

The Municipality of Olbia has ordered the demolition of several structures. The designers and builders of the houses in the agricultural area have also been reported. The defendants are defended by Pietro Carzedda, Angelo Merlini, Antonello Desini, Giampaolo Murrighile, Jacopo Merlini, Donatella Corronciu, Alessandra Cocco, Donatella Arru, Gianni Pilisio, Michele Ponsano, Gianluca Cataldi and Luca Montella.
