Once again Poste Italiane in collaboration with Santa Claus to grant children's wishes .

There were many special requests for gifts in the letters delivered to the post office by many children from all over the island and, in particular, by 42 little ones from the first class of primary school at the Lussurgese office, directed by Andrea Meli.

The tireless Santa is asked for everything: the shirts and scarves of the most supported football teams are a must, then technological games, dolls, playing cards, books and constructions . Not only fun and games but also a lot of sensitivity, altruism and solidarity towards those who suffer and are less fortunate : the Luxurious children addressed a heartfelt thought to the innocent victims of the wars in Ukraine and Palestine, expressing the desire to end the conflicts as soon as possible and poverty in the world.

«It was a very special moment – comments Meli – and of great emotional intensity. The children's visit brought a breath of joy and Christmas spirit to our office, making us share in their emotion . In their eyes there is hope and the importance of delivering the letter: they entrust us with their dreams, their desires and we have a very important task and we certainly cannot disappoint them. We will do our best, as always."

Curiosity and candour are the main prerogatives of the children: « They bombarded us with questions, to test our reliability as collaborators of Santa Klaus – specifies Federico Soriga, team leader of the Correspondence Distribution Center of Oristano – and they wanted to know many things: if the Was the address shown on the envelopes correct and whether the letters would arrive on time , as well as the requested gifts, what were the health conditions of Santa Claus and his collaborators, as well as wanting to have details on the Rovaniemi post office. Someone even asked if Santa Claus speaks and understands Sardinian and if he knows the road to Santu Lussurgiu ."

The special letters to Santa Claus are a service created by Poste Italiane throughout Sardinia, through 441 post offices and over 250 red mailboxes. Through a dedicated box, young students from all over the island have sent tens of thousands of letters to the Post Office staff, who will intercede with the special and generous recipient.
