Richard Gere, Christopher Walken, Rosario Dawson, Dennis Quaid, Daniela Melchior , and then again the actress and former Miss Italy Francesca Chillemi (as godmother), the French actresses Emmanuelle Béart and Clotilde Courau and, on the Italian front, Claudia Gerini , Paola Cortellesi, Ilenia Pastorelli, Gabriele Lavia, Matteo Garrone, Martina Stella and Sergio Rubini . This is the parterre of the sixth edition of the Filming Italy Sardegna Festival , scheduled at the Forte Village in Pula from 22 to 25 June and presented this morning in Rome by Tiziana Rocca , General Director.

«We have selected for these five frenetic days a list that boasts more than fifty titles including international and Italian films, documentaries, short films and television series, of absolutely different genres, precisely to satisfy the largest possible slice of the public, but always aiming highest quality, and many of these will be screened at the festival in absolute previews», says Rocca.

Two films in pre-opening: "A Monstrous Marriage" by Volfango De Biasi and "Fianciata for Rent" with Jennifer Lawrence . «Rosario Dawson – continued Rocca – will present her latest film in absolute world premiere, “Below the belt”. Also in this edition, as one of the few women who holds the role of artistic director of a festival, I want to continue contributing to female empowerment, thanks again to the collaboration with Women in Film, Television & Media Italia, the Italian section of the international association which promotes gender equality in the audiovisual and media industries, and we will also do so by delivering the Filming Italy Women Power Award to various female artists who have distinguished themselves for their commitment».

Presenting this sixth edition today in Rome, in addition to Tiziana Rocca, were also Giancarlo Leone, president of Apa, Nicola Corigliano of Intesa Sanpaolo, Domizia De Rosa, founder of Women in Film, Television & Media Italia and Massimo Arcangeli, Full Professor of Italian Linguistics at the University of Cagliari.

Among the guests Marco Bocci and Pietro Sermonti , who will present their latest film, "The Hunt", while Martina Stella will receive the Filming Italy Women Power Award. And then, representing the world of social networks, also the model and influencer Paola Turani and influencer and TikToker Elisa Maino Among the international films scheduled: "Champions" by Bobby Farrelly with Woody Harrelson; the animated films "Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse" by Joaquim Dos Santos, Kemp Powers and Justin K Thompson and “Nimona” by Nick Bruno and Troy Quane, “Transformers: Awakening” by Steven Caple Jr. with Anthony Ramos and Dominique Fishback, “Air” by Ben Affleck with Matt Damon, “Fast X” by Louis Leterrier with Vin Diesel and Michelle Rodriguez; Lisa Azuelos' "A Wonder Room"; Peter Sohn's Disney-Pixar film "Elemental"; George Gallo's "Muti" with Morgan Freeman; Chris McKay's "Renfield" with Nicholas Hoult and Nicolas Cage; Florian Zeller's “The Son” with Anthony Hopkins; “La syndicaliste” directed by Jean-Paul Salomé with Isabelle Huppert; “Book Club - The next chapter” directed by Bill Holderman.

Three films dedicated to Ukraine will also be screened : "Olga" directed by Elie Grappe; the award-winning "Atlantis", on the cruelty of war, directed by Valentyn Vasjanovyč; and the documentary "Ukraine on Fire", on the Ukrainian revolution, produced by Oliver Stone and directed by Igor' Lopatënok and Ben Bywater.
