Four years in prison. This is the new sentence requested by prosecutor Selene Desole before the preliminary hearing judge of the Nuoro court, Giovanni Angelicchio, against Roberta Barabino, a former support administrator already known in the judicial news for a long string of crimes.

This time, the charges revolve around embezzlement and forgery, resulting in a total of €51,499.69 in damages stolen from two vulnerable individuals , both assisted by Barabino, who joined the case as civil plaintiffs with lawyers Annamaria Musio and Bastiana Camboni. According to the prosecution, the former administrator allegedly committed 120 incidents of embezzlement, withdrawing funds without justification from the clients' bank accounts and using them for personal purposes . The alleged incidents are part of a broader pattern of professional infidelity that has already emerged in numerous legal proceedings.

Barabino (defended by Gianluca Sannio and Antonio Secci) has already been sentenced twice: the first time to seven years and eight months in prison for embezzlement and money laundering, in a case still pending on appeal; the second sentence, to five years, has already become final.

Furthermore, last September, the Nuoro Prosecutor's Office had requested a further sentence of six years and four months for her, in a separate proceeding involving 585 other contested acts and over 300 thousand euros in missing funds.

The former administrator's case appears to be a never-ending legal saga, with a barrage of complaints, testimonies, and a long list of crimes committed against vulnerable individuals, whom Barabino was supposed to protect but instead betrayed for personal gain.

The verdict for this latest trial is expected in the coming weeks.
