The branches of a tree acted as a parachute. Thus the seven Maremma Sheepdog puppies, who had been thrown from the Fordongianus bridge, were saved. The puppies were recovered by the forest rangers of the Villaurbana station and were entrusted to the Municipality.

The episode happened yesterday: someone, to get rid of the litter, thought it would be a good idea to lock the seven puppies in a sack and throw it into the void from a bridge. However, the sack ended up in a tree and got stuck in the branches. A coincidence that proved to be decisive in saving the puppies: a man heard the cries and immediately alerted the forest rangers.

The officers rushed to the scene and managed to recover the bag and save the seven siblings. The puppies were entrusted to the Fordongianus administration which is keeping them in custody while they wait to find a family.
