Reported for aggravated and continuous theft.

In trouble, in Guspini, a 42-year-old local man, unemployed, currently detained in the Uta prison.

The investigations conducted by the Carabinieri made it possible to ascertain that on 19 October last year, after having forced a window, the man had entered a fruit and vegetable shop in Via Cagliari from where he had taken 170 euros and two perfumes worth 100 EUR.

Not only that: in a house on the same street he had stolen a Nikon camera and had taken 50 euros of household funds from a nearby newsstand.

During the inspections, the carabinieri of the Villacidro Company's operational unit had found biological traces. Following laboratory tests carried out by the RIS of Cagliari, it recently emerged that that genetic profile corresponded to that of the accused, whose DNA had been sampled upon his entry into prison.

The military, meanwhile, had collected witness statements regarding the presence of the 42-year-old in via Cagliari at the time of the thefts and had also seized a pair of shoes found in the common courtyard of the buildings, which later turned out to be the property of the perpetrator of the three thefts.
