Helicopters in action today to put out two fires in Siamaggiore and Milis. In total there were 12 fires that were recorded in Sardinia, for two of these the Forestry Corps also used air vehicles.

In Siamaggiore the fire broke out in the locality of “S'Ena”, with the extinguishing coordinated by the personnel of the Forestry Corps of Oristano. On site the helicopter from the CFVA base in Fenosu. The fire covered an area of about 900 square meters of bare pastures.

The other emergency in Milis, in the “S. Paolo ”, with shutdown coordinated by the staff of the Forestry Corps of Seneghe, on the spot the helicopters coming from the base of the CFVA in Fenosu. A team from the Forestas Agency from the Seneghe construction site, one of the Oristano firefighters and the volunteers of the Milis associations intervened.

The flames covered an area of about 6000 square meters of bushes, reeds and pastures.
