Flames aboard a sailboat, rescued eight people in Portisco

Fire aboard a sailboat in the port of Portisco, Costa Smeralda.

The boat, 20 meters long and which housed three adults and five children, was moored and the flames broke out in the engine compartment.

The Coast Guard of Golfo Aranci intervened on the spot together with the Navy personnel and the Fire Brigade, who extinguished the fire, the causes of which are to be ascertained.

Serious damage reported by the boat.
