First the report for theft, then the arrest. There are two episodes, which took place in a few hours, which led the carabinieri of Cagliari, Stampace station, to put the handcuffs on the wrists of an 18-year-old Algerian residing in the reception center of Monastir and seeking political asylum.
Yesterday afternoon the young man entered the Ovs and Unieuro, taking possession of clothing, costume jewelery and electronics for a total value of about 100 euros. Hidden everything in his jacket and in a bag, he had passed the checkouts without paying but the security staff had blocked him awaiting the arrival of the military.
The stolen goods were fully recovered and returned to the owners, while the 18-year-old was denounced and also reported to the Prefecture because, during the personal search, he was found in possession of hashish.
But his "criminal adventure" was not over and shortly after he returned to the Oviesse, grabbed various items of clothing worth 70 euros and passed the cashier without paying. Again blocked, he pushed the security guard to escape, but the two fell to the ground. The carabinieri arrived on the spot and arrested him. Taken to the security rooms, today he will be subjected to the direct rite for robbery.
