Sa Marigosa , which is trying to restart after the big fire of last June 6th , is also working to respect the ordinance issued two days ago by the Municipality of Riola Sardo , the territory in which the agri-food company falls which due to the flames lost machinery, products and part of the enormous warehouse, on provincial road 7.

Mayor Lorenzo Pinna orders the owners to carry out immediately and in any case no later than 15 days, all the interventions necessary to eliminate the danger found regarding the damaged roofing and the disposal of the burnt material. But not only that: it also orders the technical verification of the structural aspect of the boundary walls of the building, adopting all the necessary measures to prevent dangers for the safety and security of people. Finally, the disposal of various waste materials present within the structure and rendered unusable by the fire.

The mayor, who three days ago carried out an inspection inside the structure together with the owners, asks the company to verify, through a qualified technician, the existence of any other dangerous situations that cannot be detected visually which could affect safety of the staff. It then prescribes that all safety works be carried out under the technical direction of a professional. The document also states "that before carrying out the works it is the responsibility of the company and the professional in charge to interface with the competent bodies in the field of protection of the landscape and architectural heritage in order to evaluate the need for expert opinions".
