Fire on 131, road closed to traffic (and then reopened): two Canadair in action

Already yesterday evening the 131 was closed for hours for a fire at Macomer.
The flames, which developed at km 197 in Riu Murrone, “jumped” the carriageways passing from one side of the road to the other. And, in fact, dividing the island in two.
Traffic towards Cagliari was diverted at km 201 along the secondary road network. On the roadway towards Sassari, one proceeded only in the overtaking lane. All lanes have been reopened and traffic has returned to normal, but the flames have not yet been put out.
The Forestry Corps intervened with the Superpuma, and two Canadair from Olbia also operate.
Helicopters in action also in the Aggius area, in Gallura, where a fire has developed in the Stazzo Finosa area.
And for Tuesday 12 half of Sardinia is at high risk of fires: from Sulcis to Campidano, from Oristano to Sassarese. The notice, with an orange alert, was issued by the regional civil protection.
