Fire in Macomer, a man dies charred

Tragedy this morning in Macomer . A man died following the fire that broke out in the appurtenances of his home, between via Giotto and via Sant'Ignazio.
The victim is a 74-year-old, Gesuino Mazzette, known as "Gino", originally from Ollolai.
His body - now charred - was found after the neighbors, seeing the flames, first alerted his wife, who was at work and confirmed that her husband was at home, and then the rescuers. On the spot the 118 doctors and the medical guard, who could do nothing to save the pensioner's life.
Investigations are underway by the carabinieri of the Macomer Company and the firefighters: the origin of the fire that developed in a small house where Mazzette kept various tools and also some wood still needs to be clarified.
