Fire alert in Sardinia: 12 blazes, helicopters in flight to tame the flames

There is a fire alarm in Sardinia, where 12 fires have been recorded throughout the region. In one of the cases, the intervention of the regional fleet's aircraft was also necessary to contain the flames.

In the Municipality of Decimomannu , in the C. Arras area , the flames covered an area of approximately 2 hectares of vegetation. The extinguishing operations of the aircraft ended at 17:29. The extinguishing was coordinated by the personnel of the Uta Forestry Corps Station, assisted by the personnel on board the helicopter from the CFVA base in Pula, by a team of Fire Brigades, a team of Decimoputzu AVAD Volunteers, 2 teams of Assemini ORSA volunteers.

Another fire affected the municipality of Donori , in the Tuvu area , the extinguishing of which was coordinated by the personnel of the Forestry Corps Station of Dolianova, with the support of the personnel on board the helicopter coming from the CFVA base of Villasalto.
