Fire afternoon in Santu Lussurgiu: fire in the countryside

A fire broke out in the countryside of Santu Lussurgiu. The flames spread in the early afternoon , and the Civil Protection Department immediately implemented a fire prevention plan.

The affected areas are Sa Zoa and Adde Renu , several hectares of scrubland, Mediterranean scrub, and even some olive groves. Firefighters responded immediately, followed by teams from Forestas, the Forestry Corps, and then the local Civil Protection and Santu Lussurgiu barracelli.

The regional fire service helicopter also took flight to put out the fire.
The flames are currently not advancing, and firefighting teams are keeping it under control.
