The Tempio Pausania prosecutor's office has issued an urgent order seizing the Villa Joy property in Cala Finanza. The investigation, coordinated by acting prosecutor Alessandro Bosco and deputy prosecutor Sebastiano Carpinato, concerns the property in the municipality of Loiri Porto San Paolo, which is subject to multiple landscape and environmental restrictions.

Personnel from the Tempio Pausania Forestry and Environmental Protection Corps, along with Carabinieri from the Cagliari Cultural Heritage Protection Unit and the Sassari Labor Inspectorate Unit, operated in execution of a precautionary seizure order.

According to the prosecutors in charge of the case, the seized property was intended for use that did not comply with urban planning regulations. Several illegally constructed runways were also seized, according to the prosecutors . Seals were placed on numerous prefabricated buildings serving the main structure, which were annexed in a manner that, according to the prosecutor, did not comply with the urban planning regulations for the area.

Furthermore, an archaeological area has been seized, which will be the subject of further investigations by officials of the Superintendency of Sassari and Nuoro.

The judicial police are examining the positions of several individuals for alleged violations of the Consolidated Law on Building and the Cultural Heritage and Landscape Code.
