After the houses sold for one euro, Ollolai continues his project to repopulate the town with concessions for resident families and who apply for residence. "Ollolai.Capitale" contains a series of initiatives that have been carried out in recent years by the Municipality. A first phase was that aimed at "urban regeneration" during which 13 homes were assigned to one euro, followed by the renovation of properties by Italians and foreigners and by the sale at market price to foreign couples. A Dutch reality show was also involved in the case. Then the community cooperative was formed, which brings together over 80 citizens, professionals and local businesses.

Now the second phase is starting, consisting of actions, explains the Municipality, "aimed at reducing costs for the main residence and in favor of services for families, minors and the elderly". The project will be implemented by the Ollolai Community Cooperative and provides for the rental of houses for one euro (monthly fee); of commercial premises for one euro (monthly fee); the free information service and assistance with the procedures relating to the start-up and implementation with the planned regional contributions in favor of the birth rate; three-year baby bonus, free textbooks, contributions to school transport, school assistance services and free recreational and recreational workshop activities; finally, free services and token costs for the elderly population.
