Marco Solinas, brother of the former president of the Region Christian, is the one investigated for the death of Filippo Vidili, the fifty-year-old from Oristano who was mistakenly shot during a big game hunting trip in the countryside of Sedilo . A day in the open air that ended in tragedy.
Filippo Vidili was a guest of a group from Sedilo on Friday, together with a friend, to inaugurate the big game hunting season: nine members in total.
From the first reconstruction of the investigators, it seems that the 50-year-old was lying in wait for the wild boar: then the animal passed quickly and the gunshot. At that point Vidili would have approached but, at that precise moment, it was dark.
The hunting companion, in a nearby position, hearing movement and thinking it was another wild boar, fired. Three single-ball shots, one hitting the prey, one hitting a rock and the other hitting his friend. Vidili had time to say a few words, he also turned to his companion before collapsing to the ground and losing consciousness. Despite resuscitation attempts, which went on for over forty minutes, there was nothing that could be done for the sartigliante Vidili. The wounds to his abdomen were too serious.
The Prosecutor's Office, with PM Silvia Mascia, has opened an investigation for manslaughter. All those present have been questioned and the weapons have been seized. The name of Marco Solinas (defended by the lawyer Gian Mario Fattacciu) has been entered in the register of suspects. The victim's family has contacted the lawyers Gianluigi Mastio and Mario Gusi: the body will be returned to them after the autopsy, scheduled for today.
