Deep sorrow in the world of hiking, and beyond, for the sudden death of Massimiliano Deidda, biologist and environmental guide, struck by a sudden heart attack in his home in Dolianova.
Deidda, 55 years old, from Cagliari, originally from the Sant'Elia district, had moved to the Parteolla center in recent years.
A graduate in biology, he was a popular science communicator with great knowledge of medicinal plants. The news of his death caused great dismay.
Massimiliano Deidda was well known and esteemed for his work as an environmental guide , especially in the south of Sardinia, where he had been working for over 30 years.
Hundreds of messages of condolence to the family from friends and acquaintances appeared on social media immediately after the news of his passing spread.
