He was the father of a five-month-old girl Paolo Zarra , the 31-year-old farmer who was killed in a car accident late yesterday evening between Bono and Buddusò .

The man, from Berchiddeddu (a hamlet of Olbia) , was thrown out of the cockpit and ended up on an embankment along the provincial road 10 of the Goceano.

Two other young people who were on board the same Golf were seriously injured and urgently transferred to the Nuoro hospital.

The incident took place not far from Bono . The Golf last night was headed right to Buddusò, where the three friends were going to eat a pizza. Once the car entered the straight near a service area, it lost grip and lifted up. Then it started banging from one side of the roadway to the other until it crashed into a gutter.

When the 118 rescuers arrived, Zarra was still alive: he died a few minutes later of very serious injuries.

Carabinieri and firefighters are also on site.
