A mix of strength, balance and fatigue that the large audience present today on the banks of the Santa Giusta pond liked. Success for the Regata dei fassonis, number 42, organized by the newly formed Is Fassoneris association and the local Pro Loco.
There was no shortage of excitement and determination, along a course of about 600 meters. First the rowing race took place: Antonio Putzu won. Second instead Marco Pili and third Antonio Pili. The rowing regatta, the one for young people, was won instead by Marco Demuro.
Then there was the one with cantoi, more suggestive and tiring. The competitors showed all their ability standing on the ancient vessel with a long stick made of three reeds in their hands that is sunk into the seabed. The competition was won in this case too by Antonio Putzu. Marco Pili was second and his son Davide was third. For them there was celebration and lots of applause.
