Farewell to Martine Frey, a journalist who moved in the world of information with the weapons of grace and elegance. She was 83 years old. French roots. She was born in Nancy, once the capital of the Duchy of Lorraine. She moved to Sardinia when she was very young. She worked at Unione Sarda, Videolina, Radiolina, Tcs, Sardegna Uno, where she was a correspondent from Gallura for many years, Radio Internazionale, Teleregione.
A long journalistic adventure always faithful to the values and principles of the profession. A Frenchwoman who, over time, had become Sardinian and Gallura. With younger colleagues she was generous with advice. Often, on the phone, she expressed, with her unmistakable French accent, appreciation for a service or an article that she considered particularly effective. Generous, altruistic, determined in defending the ideas she believed in. Always consistent.
She died in the hospital in Olbia, where she was hospitalized, the day after her 83rd birthday. In her last step she had at her side her daughter Dominique, born from her marriage with the journalist Achille D'Amelia.
