"A life in music, a kind and polite person". This is how friends remember Antonino Cherchi , who passed away at the age of 93 .

For a long time an active member of the Dalerci musical band, but above all he was the Maestro of the Alguer 80 Choir which he directed with great passion for several years. «All of us, the boys of that time, will remember him with affection», write the members of that time, «in his life in addition to raising his family with his work he found the time to be part of the city musical band and above all to have patiently directed a choir of young boys. The funeral will take place tomorrow at Santa Maria Cathedral.
