«Exhausting shifts for Oss at Santissima Trinità»: Fials ready for legal battle
The union against the Cagliari Local Health Authority: «The recovery of surplus hours has not even been planned»Per restare aggiornato entra nel nostro canale Whatsapp
They complain about exhausting working hours, with night workers clashing with day workers a few hours apart the following day. And no scheduled recovery of overtime . The dispute opened by the Fials union , through the provincial secretary Paolo Cugliara, in defense of Oss, drivers and technical operators of the Santissima Trinità hospital in Cagliari , risks resulting in a judicial dispute with the ASL.
In a document sent to the general director Marcello Tidore it is reported that the operators find themselves working, for example, on Sundays from 7am to 2pm, with night availability from 8pm to 7am on Monday, and a return to service expected at 2pm on the same day day. And when faced with their complaints they would have heard the answer: "You can go and rest in the morning and come back at 2pm."
All this, according to the trade unionist, would happen in " failure to comply with the contractual provision and creating a potential condition of risk of accident and injury". Furthermore, the forecast of the overtime recovery program would also be missing, according to Cugliara.
For this reason the union reserves the right to "take legal action to protect workers" should the situation persist.
