Everyone with drugs in their pockets: flurry of complaints in Cagliari and its province

Flurry of checks by the Carabinieri of the Provincial Command of Cagliari to combat drug dealing and abuse in the capital and in the province.

The checks, carried out over the last weekend, concerned in particular the streets and meeting places of young people. And reports and complaints have poured in.

In Sestu, the soldiers of the local Carabinieri station reported two young people to the Prefecture of Cagliari as drug users. The first, an eighteen-year-old born in Isili and resident in Barumini, was found in possession of kief, hashish and marijuana. The second, a nineteen year old born in Cagliari and also resident in Barumini, had only a few grams of marijuana.

Also in Sestu, the carabinieri of the Selargius station reported two other individuals, both from Selargius.

They are a forty-four year old and a fifty-six year old who were hiding a few grams of marijuana. Both men, unemployed and already known to the police force.

Finally, in Decimomannu, the soldiers of the local station reported a thirty-year-old from Cagliari resident in Monastir for cultivation of narcotic substances. During a house search, the man was found in possession of six marijuana plants, over 13 grams of marijuana inflorescences and two precision scales.

The material was seized and the Judicial Authority was informed for the appropriate measures.
