The European Heritage Days 2024 are back in museums and cultural venues, with the title "Heritage on the move" adopted by the Council of Europe and the countries adhering to the event.

An invitation to reflect on the value of cultural heritage in relation to paths, communication routes, connections and networks that, today or in the past, have made relationships and exchanges between peoples and cultures possible and contributed to the formation of our identity.

During the next weekend, September 28th and 29th, museums, archaeological parks and cultural sites will host various activities. On Saturday, an evening opening is planned with an entrance ticket costing 1 euro, to share places and events not to be missed .

Sardinia proposes, for this new edition that is renewed after the previous years, numerous initiatives: there are over 80 projects that will see as protagonists Museums, Municipalities, Archives, Libraries, Foundations, Cultural Associations and Cooperatives , which have joined with enthusiasm and active participation in the event coordinated by the Press and Communication Office of the Regional Directorate of National Museums of Sardinia.

The event will involve the entire Sardinian territory, from North to South, with a hundred public and private cultural operators who will be the main actors for two days with a series of proposals that will give visitors the opportunity to enjoy and learn about the rich cultural heritage of Sardinia.

It starts with the evening opening on Saturday 28th, at 6 pm, in the Basilica of San Saturnino , with free admission, for the presentation of current and future events scheduled on the site and the "Cammino di San Saturnino" initiative. On Sunday 29th, with an extraordinary opening from 10 am to 2 pm, the Coro Terra Mea will perform, with a concert entitled "Canti in Basilica". The itinerary continues with a cultural journey that will see the Asproni National Archaeological Museum of Nuoro as the protagonist in the center of Sardinia, which will remain open on Saturday 28th, from 8 pm to 11 pm. In the garden of the Museum, the indie rock band Bent Trees Society will perform in concert, at 9 pm, with free admission, whose eponymous debut album tells the problems and contradictions of Sardinia.
