Entrepreneur from Arzachena accused of stalking: full acquittal after 5 years

A 52-year-old businessman was acquitted of stalking, mistreatment and threats to his ex-partner.
The man, from Arzachena, remained on trial for five years and today the judge of the Tempio Court cleared him with the broadest formula, because the fact does not exist.
He had been accused of having threatened his partner with death and of harassing her to force her to have an abortion. During the hearing, however, serious inconsistencies emerged in the story of the alleged victim who contradicted herself several times.
The reconstruction of the facts by the Tempio Prosecutor's Office, which has kept the man on trial since 2019, was deemed unfounded by the Court. The man, defended by the lawyer Vanni Boldarin, had always declared himself innocent.
